Job SummaryPerforms various delivery and distribution functions supporting Distribution Center (DC). Operates a company vehicle for the safe and efficient delivery or pick up of mail, supplies, products and materials. Responsible for physically receiving merchandise from internal and external sources, replenishing inventory locations, receiving and picking orders, storing and shipping supplies, and packing orders as well as validating product on the sorter. Essential Functions• Operates a company vehicle to safely transports and collects mail, supplies, products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.• Receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of materials or goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation.• Appropriately moves and loads & unloads products and items between all DC buildings and various destinations. • Physically receives and puts-away merchandise, supplies and printed materials.• Picks merchandise/supplies to fulfill omni-channel orders.• Packages merchandise/supplies to prepare for shipping.• Performs cycle counts.• Manifests shipments to James Avery retail stores or suppliers/vendors using UPS/FedEx shipping applications, including weighing and labeling the package/shipping container.• Performs transactions in Oracle as needed.• May assist with sorting, separating and feeding materials as needed.• Maintains a high degree of accuracy and have a strong attention to detail.• Maintain a good standing driving record as per James Avery's Company Driver Policy.• Adhere to James Avery's Company Driver Policy and Safety Rules to ensure a safe driving and working environment.• Provides support in other areas and performs additional duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications• Must have valid State Driver's License and be able to meet James Avery's driving requirements.• Ability to safely lift, load and deliver items up to 50lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends and evenings.• Ability to travel to various work locations.Preferred Qualifications• Distribution Center experience.• Courier and/or delivery experience.• Basic MS Office skills.
