POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary
The Process Improvement Advisor provides DLX support to Operations, Advisors and AutoZoners. Researches issues and identifies any opportunities related to the integrity of processes. Ensures that every task completed is done in the most efficient manner and if it is not, helps identify process improvement. Collects data for the engineer(s) and helps maintain any areas linked to production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze labor metrics assignment data and make corrections as needed
Maintain all users shift and assignment set up within the labor metrics system
Maintain warehouse map (locations, aisles, etc.)
Perform any investigative work as directed by management pertaining to the WMS or labor metrics system
Conduct time studies and coach employees on safety and efficiency
Conduct any training or retraining as needed (i.e. New Advisors to input indirect time, complete coaching sessions, etc.)
Monitor indirect time; review and research indirect cards
Provide reports to management as needed (i.e. skips report, delivery report, multi-scan report).
Special projects as needed (i.e. train management/trainers on voxware equipment)
Collect data on improving processes and reducing downtime
Support the management team on all DC systems
Support Process Improvement Advisors from other DCs
May fill in for Inventory Control Manager, Computer Room Manager or DC Advisor as needed
Maintains a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners are implementing those practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Work in a Safety Sensitive environment
Other duties as assigned

None unless filling in for Inventory Control Manager, Computer Room Manager or DC Advisor
Education and/or Experience
REQUIRED:
1-3 years of computer support experience
Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be confident and have the ability to coach others and share knowledge
Ability to build and maintain relationships and work with people at all levels
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to problem-solve
Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time
Must be available to work different shifts, as needed, c onfident in ability to coach others
PREFERRED:
1-2 years of supervisory experience
At least 1 year of warehouse management system or labor management

Ability to hear safety horns, PIE horns, pre-shift announcements/safety messages and pages
Ability to work in a Safety Sensitive environment (operation of PIE / heavy PIE traffic throughout the distribution center); moving conveyors, heights; maintain awareness of surroundings at all times and quick reaction time to hazardous conditions are necessary
