Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Robotic Arm Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating FANUC robotic arms. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining the robotic arm system to ensure efficient and precise operations in our distribution environment.

Compensation: $19.00/hour

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Robotic Arm Operation:
    • Operate FANUC M-1000iA robotic arm systems to perform tasks such as material handling, sortation, palletization, and other distribution processes.
    • Monitor and control the robotic arm's movements to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
    • Perform basic maintenance on the robotic arm system to ensure its optimal functionality
    • Communicate with the Maintenance department for additional support and advanced maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, collaborating with maintenance, leadership, and technical support teams to implement timely solutions.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify that the robotic arm system is meeting production standards.
    • Implement adjustments and calibrations as necessary to maintain product quality.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of robot programs, setup configurations, and maintenance activities.
    • Document any issues, resolutions, or improvements made to the robotic arm system.
  • Reach Truck Operation:
    • Safely operate a reach truck in close quarters around equipment to retrieve and transport product throughout warehouse

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with FANUC robotic arms.
  • Ability to safely operate a reach truck.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, stack, and carry items up to 50 lbs frequently, comfortable working in varying temperatures and physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliable transportation, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
