Position: Distribution Data Analyst Department: Annuity Marketing Reporting to: Distribution Development Director Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite Overview: Are you passionate about problem-solving and ready to make an impact? We're seeking a Distribution Data Analyst to support our annuity marketing sales division. In this role, you'll dive into historical data, focusing mainly on annuity policies, to help advisors identify opportunities for client reviews and new strategies. We're looking for motivated, self-driven individuals who enjoy digging into complex data sets and uncovering valuable insights. This role is situated in Topeka, Kansas, and it is exclusively an on-site arrangement. Moreover, please note that the company does not extend sponsorship opportunities. What you'll do:
- Analyze historical data within Advisors Excel, with a focus on annuity policies
- Help advisors identify client policies needing review and potential strategies
- Collaborate with data intelligence team across the company to coordinator efforts
- Collaborate with IT to ensure smooth implementation of data-related projects
- Assist with complex projects that include sorting through large amounts of data
- Identify patterns, trends, and insights and reporting on key data sets
- Assist Distribution Development Director on vetting technology vendors and other tech related initiatives
Experience you'll bring: - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with SQL
- Aptitude for technology with ability to quickly learn
Bonus Points: - Financial service experience with an understanding of related products
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, data analytics, mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Familiarity with salesforce, risk analyzer, Power BI, Power Automate, coding and VBA
