Adecco is assisting a client recruiting for Distribution Material Handlers in a Manufacturing Company opening in Palm Beach Gardens , FL. This is a long-term opportunity. As a Distribution Material Handler, you will be responsible for filling requests for materials by reading manufacturing orders to determine items to be moved from receiving or storage areas to production area in a very fast-paced environment. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!Responsibilities for these Distribution Material Handler jobs include, but are not limited to:• Inventory organization and maintenance• Receive and stock inbound inventory• Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document any instances• Prepare Manufacturing orders and deliver with handcart to the correct department• Keep stockroom clean and organized• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulationsQualifications:At least 1 year minimum experience working in stockroom or picking orders.Ability to stand a full 8 hour shiftAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentRequires that you be able to lift 50 poundsSchedule: Full-Time – either from 10:00am – 6:30pm or 11:00am to 7:30pm, Monday to FridayPay for this position is $17.00/hr.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan.
