Description:
Position Summary:
The Distribution Office Clerk is responsible for the successful orchestration and execution of all outbound and inbound loads to ensure our commitments to our customers are met and exceeded.
Position Responsibilities:
Great Starting Pay: $23.40/hr!
Schedule/Inbound Outbound Loads
Orchestrate Shipping Dock Doors-Maintain DDS-Distribute to Team
Plan pick times for case pick loads.
Process inbound/outbound shipments in Oracle property
Creates/Process/Organize Shipping Paperwork
Checks in/out truck drivers
Clean, Sweep, Mop Office
Maintain/ Distribute Trailer Audit form
Communicate with Team Leads on Load/Pick Priority
Confirm/ Finalize next day shipping information on DDS.
Prepare and maintain DDS shipping information daily
Follows up on tasks assigned to warehousemen to ensure that process standards are met
Ensures the on time delivery of customer orders
Performs other duties and tasks as directed
Collaborate with Customer Service, QA, and Planners on all shipping stock issues
Position Requirements:
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED required
* 2 years experience in warehouse environment, with lead/foreman background.
* Good knowledge of PC Desktop functions.
Qualifications:
* Mature and conscientious attitude. Self motivated with the ability to work independently
* Ability to work in a freezer environment.
* Strong leadership skills required.
* MS Excel and Outlook experience.
* Basic Math skills.
* Interpersonal skills with the ability to work with other departments.
* Ability to work flexible hours including some mandatory weekends and overtime.
* Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language.
