Please review below to see if this might be the right opportunity for you.Manage trailers for the Distribution Center and transport inventory between main Distribution Center and offsite Warehouse. Perform necessary rotary assembly shipping functions.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must manage trailers incoming and outgoing for the Distribution Center for proper placement at receiving and shipping doors.
- Maintain PIV certification for all PIV equipment used in the DC.
- Transport inventory between Distribution Center and offsite warehouse to keep efficient flow of inventory to meet space requirements and to satisfy outgoing shipment performance.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and cleanliness of offsite warehouse.
- Responsible for truck safety checks and reporting of needed repair of equipment
- Shipping department responsibilities to include loading of outgoing trucks movement of shipments to prepare for loading and shipping documentation requirements
- Perform necessary cycling counting functions and misc. CI activities.
KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- Good communication skills are required.
- Ability to work closely with others to effectively achieve results.
- Ability to perform necessary computer functions
Job RequirementsABOUT YOU:
- High School with 2 years general, experience.
- Must have/obtain a CDL license and DOT certification within 30 days of accepting position.
- Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
- Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship

TRAVEL: Minimal less than 5%WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Temperatures may vary in accordance with weather conditions and may be extreme.
- The Distribution Center has constant powered-equipment traffic.
- Gates is managed in compliance with OSHA guidelines and requires all employees to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests.
