DISTRIBUTION CENTER MAINTENANCE MANAGERIn our distribution centers, our goal is to get products to our pet parents as efficiently as possible. Our DC Maintenance Manager is focused on productivity, accuracy, reliability and safety and takes great pride in the role they play within PetSmart. Be part of a culture that believes everyone belongs and promotes our associates being who they are.FULL TIME FULFILLMENTWe are hiring for full-time associates for multiple shifts during the day, night and weekend. We offer four 10-hour weekday shifts, or three 12-hour weekend shifts. Shifts may vary by location and may include shift differential pay.WHAT YOU'LL DO:As a Distribution Center Maintenance Manager, you will work as an integral part of our supply chain leadership team. You'll have the opportunity to work in several business units such as order fill, replenishment or fish warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include:Leading a maintenance tech supervisor, who leads a team of maintenance techs and senior techs.Managing performance and developing talent.Ensuring that assignments are accomplished on time, within agreed upon budget, and with a high degree of satisfaction to ensure a safe, clean and productive work environment.Providing support to all areas of the distribution center, prioritizing tasks and maintenance efficiently.Performing preventative maintenance checks on all equipment and repairing parts as needed.Ability to quickly troubleshoot machine issues and have a working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing and overall facilities maintenance.Communicating to senior managers.MOVING AND GROOVING:In our fast-paced DCs, you'll always be on the move.
