POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for receiving, storing, controlling and distributing supplies and equipment to all department in the hospital.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive incoming supplies and equipment
* Inputs receipts into the Materials Management system
* Assist in resolving any invoices discrepancies related to receiving
* Distributes supplies and equipment as needed to all department in the hospital
* Assist in controlling access to warehouse by assisting walk-in customers
* Assist with receiving and asset tagging capital equipment
* Accurately maintains asset log
* Delivers incoming tagged equipment to Clinical Engineering for safety inspection
* Acts as back up to Mailroom/Equipment Tech when needed
* Maintains fork lift certification
* Performs safety inspection on fork lift prior to use
* Maintains and replenishes crash carts
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and loading dock on a daily basis
* Assist with physical inventory when requested
* Assist with checking for expired products and rotating stock
* Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A. Education
* High school diploma preferred
B. Qualifications/Experience
* 2-3 years experience in receiving/distribution warehouse preferred.
* Fork lift certification required within 90 Days of hire.
C. Special Skills/Knowledge
* Microsoft Office, MMIS; Lawson (preferred)
