POSITION TITLE: District Custodial Lead / Custodian Swing Shift

HOURS: District Custodial Lead (2 hr)/Custodian Swing Shift (6 hr), 5 day/wk, 260 day/yr (194 swing/66 day)

2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

HOURLY WAGE: $31.73 - $36.13 District Custodial Lead - Day Shift / $27.43 - $31.82 Custodian Day Shift

$32.52 - $37.03 District Custodial Lead - Swing Shift / $28.12 - $32.62 Custodian Swing shift

Wages based upon the 2023/2024 PSE Salary Schedule and depending upon prior experience.

BENEFITS: Employees anticipated to work 630 hours in a school calendar year may be eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Pension, VEBA, and 403(b).

Up to 12 Sick Days, 2 Personal Days, 13 Paid Holidays, and 28 Vacations Days - prorated based upon start date, days worked, and longevity.

LOCATIONS: Haller Middle School/District Office/Support Services

REPORTS TO: Director of Support Services

DISTRICT CUSTODIAL LEAD SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Support Services, the District Custodial Lead will assist custodians with the delivery of quality and reliable custodial services with a focus on supporting and meeting District goals as outlined in the Strategic Plan. The District Custodial Lead will assist in day to day operational support to provide a safe, attractive, efficient and clean facility for students, staff and other users of the Arlington Public Schools. This position is responsible for coaching, guiding, and inspecting the work that will be performed by the custodians as means of training.

CUSTODIAN SUMMARY: Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Support Services and the building principal, the custodian will perform custodial duties ensuring a clean, safe, attractive and functioning facility without interrupting the use of the building.
