Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top-tier pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. The District Sales Manager will report to the Syneos Health National Business Director and will be directly responsible to hire, train and develop, as well as coach the sales team.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for motivating, managing and developing the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in their district
  • Effectively identify and monitor multiple local market conditions to build and support strong customer relationships while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies
  • Monitor field activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and medical affairs

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Degree preferred
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical or related sales experience
  • 3+ years of district / regional management experience
  • Dermatology experience preferred
  • Previous successful team and product launch experience
  • Proven ability to hire, lead, coach & mentor high performing teams
  • Motivational leader with strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into action.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and engagement.
  • Successful experience managing across large geographic areas
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $172,500. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
