Job DescriptionThe Regional Director is responsible for sales, both direct and in support of other Project Managers, planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of our environmental and asbestos projects on a regional level. This includes safety, profitability, staffing, and overall success of the projects. The Regional Director of Environmental Services position requires a proactive, hands-on, and engaged management approach. The Regional Director is responsible for cultivating and promoting our company culture.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Meets or exceeds sales and profitability goals. Negotiates and executes contracts on behalf of the company. Achieves profit margins in line with company goals. Supports assigned region Project Directors in Environmental and Asbestos sales. Estimating Generates, manages, and closes sales leads generated from the company, team members, and personal referral sources. Inspect and determine the appropriate scope of repairs. Generates and presents complete and professional estimates. Prepares estimates promptly and accurately. Trains and assists others on the team as needed. Marketing & Business Development Markets company to new customers. Targets major accounts, large loss executives, and facility/property management executives via weekly sales and business development activity. Leads participation in industry functions, such as trade shows. Attends industry-related functions for marketing purposes. Documents and tracks all prospect and client data in our CRM systems. Fosters close working relationships with subcontractors and vendor partners. Overall Management Cultivates and promotes the company credo, core values, service commitments, 96% Proof, and overall culture. Fosters and promotes a collaborative and mutually beneficial and supportive relationships between Operations, Business Development, and other company business units. Sets and monitors goals for the overall team and tracks the financial performance of each project monitoring key metrics such as costs versus estimate, schedule versus plan, resource allocation and resource productivity, billing and collections, cash flow, and profitability. Develops and coaches Project Managers and Superintendents on proper processes, methodologies, and concepts & techniques for construction management to improve overall employee and EN team value. Leads environmental teams through change, growth, and new concepts. Promotes and adheres to safety standards and all local and national codes. Ensure Proper Project Execution Organizes, assigns, and directs all environmental/ asbestos projects, either directly or through assigned personnel. Drives revenue production, profitability, proper subcontracting, schedule creation & adherence, budget reporting, and projections. Drives customer satisfaction. Perform Project Reviews Performs 1 on 1 project reviews of project finances, contract management, change orders, and other construction documents and reports potential issues. Proactively develops solutions to address potential issues. Ensures the company's ethical and legal obligations are met. Perform Site Visits Oversees environmental safety implementation for zero incidents and reporting for their region. Oversees project compliance for Federal and State laws governing environmental and asbestos projects. Travels (including possible air travel) across the region approximately 60% of the time. Ensure Customer Service Increases customer satisfaction levels and customer retention. Ensures proper customer management throughout the project process. Develops and maintains viable relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and trade personnel. Attends scheduled customer or job progress meetings as needed.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated successful leadership of multiple environmental and asbestos projects and project managers over a large and diverse territory. In-depth knowledge of Regional, Federal, and State laws governing environmental and asbestos projects. Strong business ethics, integrity, and ability to perform in highly autonomous environments. Excellent oral and written communication and team management skills. High emotional intelligence and expert interpersonal skills. Strong computer and technology skills.EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Sciences, or related field, or 10+ years of full-time environmental and asbestos abatement experience preferred with sophisticated commercial, state, university, or federal clientele.TRAVEL: Ability to travel (including air travel) approximately 60% of the time.
