The District Operations Manager is a hands-on leader who utilizes leadership, delegation, follow up, and feedback to operate an efficient, profitable market. They demonstrate technical skills as well as a solid understanding of business operations and leadership techniques in guiding their team to operational excellence. Follow safety guidelines and model safe behaviorLead overall operations in the market:Evaluate units in the field to ensure unit processes and procedures are consistently completed to standard. Provide coaching as appropriatePartner with corporate to review sales and functionality reports, identify issues and/or trends, and take appropriate actions to maintain unit functionality, enhance customer service, and drive salesProvide guidance, training, feedback and follow up to market employeesFunction as the field liaison to the corporate office by communicating successes, opportunities for improvement, sales trends, ideas, competitive information, and concerns to continually improve market performance.Champion safety; ensure monthly safety meetings occur consistently and presentations are impactful and relevantMonitor P&L results to meet budgetary requirementsEnsure inventory control procedures are in place and operationalManage vehicle fleet to maximize resourcesCommunicate regularly with team, direct reports, supervisors, customers and corporateIdentify and initiate methods to drive water and ice sales throughout the marketUtilize networking and relationship building skills to source, develop, and maintain new sales opportunitiesCreate and execute impactful events such as grand opening celebrations and/or sponsorships to drive market salesResponsible for company vehicle and ensuring routine service and maintenance on company vehicle is performed per guidelinesQualifications, Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStrong leading and team building skillsAbility to balance hands-on with oversight dutiesWell-developed written and oral communication skillsGood working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Team player with positive attitudeBilingual English/Spanish preferredKnowledge of the water/water-ice unit and process/procedures a plusIntermediate to advanced electrical, maintenance or similar skills preferredClean motor vehicle record; valid, current driver's licenseAbility to work required schedule and to work on-call for rotating weekends and eveningsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50 poundsCapable of climbing ladders, walking, standing, stooping and bendingAbility to work safely in limited space inside kiosksAbility to operate standard office equipmentAbility to work in heatAbility to safely operate a motor vehicleEducation, Experience And CertificatesHigh school diploma or equivalent.
