About the role:
The District Manager is a sales, brand, and culture leader for a multi-store territory. Their primary responsibility is to ensure strong performance across all stores and maximize profitability for their district. They lead store teams to consistently deliver a positive customer journey, resulting in strong conversion and high customer loyalty. The ideal candidate embraces the company's dedication to mental fitness, and strives to incorporate that message into both the employee and customer experience.
What you'll do:
Lead district to ensure all store-level deliverables and metrics are metTrain and manage District and Store level P&L devising strategies on controllable expensesIdentify opportunities and create district-level strategies to align with company and business objectivesAssess local market and business insights to share with broader leadership team; adapt strategy based on findingsRecruit, hire, coach, and retain a team of best-in-class store managersSupport diversity, encourage dialogue, and welcome different points of viewHandle all employee relations issues, taking partnership with the People and Culture team when appropriateLiaise with Retail Marketing Manager to support community outreach and instore event effortsEnsure store teams are trained as product knowledge experts ensuring they are able to speak to the features and benefits of Rhone productsSupport Store Managers in upholding operational excellenceTrickle down relevant brand and business updates to stores on a regular basisCollaborate with Store Managers and Human Resources to maintain compliance with local labor requirementsEnsure highest level of visual standards are achieved and that stores are up to date with all current directivesWork with the Director of Stores and cross-functional partners to ensure assortment and inventory are optimized by locationCollaborate with Retail leadership team as needed to support storesOpen to additional projects and tasks as deemed necessary What you'll bring:
4+ years of multi-store leadership experience with proven ability to lead and develop teamsExperience in an apparel setting, preferably performance lifestyle and/or activewear preferredProficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making informed decisionsSuperior verbal and written communication skillsSuperior organizational and time management skillsA positive and optimistic attitudeProficient in Google suite of products including Docs, Sheets, and SlidesWorking knowledge of Point of Sale, inventory management, and labor scheduling systemsAbility to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends as needed What you'll get:
