At Tulsa Legacy Charter School (TLCS), the District Nurse (DN) plays a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of students. The DN assists in managing daily health office operations, provides basic healthcare to students, and delivers comprehensive health services. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to promoting a healthy school environment As an integral part of the Operations team, the DN ensures that the schools are managed with operational excellence by refining, implementing, and supporting health policies and systems, while upholding the values of Tulsa Legacy Charter School. Skills & Requirements Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience required, at least 4 years preferred
- At least two (2) years of experience working with children in a school or health service delivery environment, preferred
- Minimum Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited certifying Body (AAMA, NHA)
- Registered Nurse licensure through the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred
- A valid driver's license.
Knowledge and Skills
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.

- Knowledge of appropriate policies, regulations, and statutes
- Computer skills including email, word processing, and health reporting.
