- Manage Key Accounts to strengthen our relations and grow sales with those customers
- Act as team leader to manage all aspects of a customer's experience with WMFTS, working closely with the support team to ensure key accounts, customers and prospective customer expectations are met.
- Respond to leads, and sell Watson-Marlow products to customer engineers for inclusion in OEM fluid path, and equipment projects
- Negotiate pricing and business agreements
- Work as a liaison between the factory and customers to quote and specify custom-engineered products
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of the full range of WMFTS product brands to the
- Biopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical and Medical Device markets
- Monitor and progress a multi-year customer project pipeline, keeping tabs on the project from the initial design phase through to production.
- Ensure that all inquiries are followed up promptly, and any technical, price, contractual, delivery, quality, or service issues are addressed for customers or prospective customers
- Keep CRM up to date including assigned Lead, Activities, customer visits, Cases and Opportunities
- Weekly update of large orders forecast, and monthly update of pipeline on CRM
To be successful in this role, youwill need:
- Due to the nature of this role you must reside in one of the following States: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia.
- Bachelor's degree or significant related experience in field sales with process capital equipment or similar.
- Proven successful experience in managing Representative, Distribution and Direct Sales Teams in Process Industries Sectors
- Have a proven track record of selling premium products using a consultative sales process.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills required to communicate with internal and external contacts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high professionalism.
- Strong time management skills.
