District Sales ManagerReports to General ManagerThe District Sales Manager at Joshua Tree Experts will direct and oversee the Indoor and Outdoor Sales departments for multiple locations. This person will design, implement, and monitor effective strategies that align with Joshua Tree Experts' business goals. Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and maintain accountability for the Lehigh Valley and Buxmont's Indoor and Outdoor Sales Departments
- Provide quarterly performance evaluations that are constructive and timely for Sales Department members
- Assists in the hiring and training of the Sales Department
- Handles discipline and termination of direct reports, as necessary and according to company policy
- Provide direct coaching on a regularly scheduled basis to all Indoor and Outdoor sales team members
Duties and Responsibilities:
- 5 Years of Lawn care sales experience required
- Improve and elevate current Sales strategy to increase KPIs.
- Partner with leadership to establish, articulate, and implement strategic vision
- Oversee Indoor Sales Team telemarketing and dial campaigns while making adjustments to campaigns as needed
- Ensure that jobs are entered accurately by verifying the correctness of information, notes, and documentation
- Journaling, coaching, and conducting ride-a-longs to ensure accountability for successful implementation of sales policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to upsell and cross-sell all services provided by Joshua Tree Experts
- Analyze client needs and recommend additional services to maximize client value
- Capable of monitoring, tracking, and interpreting KPI's
- Implement and document Sales processes to improve performance
- Build and maintain client relationships with all commercial and HOA communities
- Set visionary standards for 1 year and 3 year Sales goals
- Design and review Sales budgets
- Set weekly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while motivating sales team to achieve growth and success
- Prioritize Sales projects and allocate resources accordingly
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales metrics for the leadership team
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Forecast hiring needs for the Sales department
- Participate in quarterly and annual planning for Joshua Tree Expert's goals and objectives
- Address client feedback and concerns related to the Sales Team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools and techniques
- Ability to supervise, manage, and lead a team of 5 - 8 people
- Ability to provide coaching and guidance to strengthen Indoor and Outdoor sales teams
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Strategic and energetic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if necessary
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred but not required
- MBA in Sales, Business Administration, or related field is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales Management in related field is required
- Valid Driver's license
- Sandler certification is desired but not required
- Knowledge in the Green Industry is required
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally exposed to adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to navigate hazardous job site locations
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at times
Expected Salary & Benefits
- $80,000 annually with bonus potential - Target earnings up to $110,000
