Ensure security and integrity of testing materials and data in accordance with state and federal requirements. The Campus Success Coordinator will support the Director of School Success in providing partner and district staff with the training, support, and policy guidance necessary to promote strong compliance and performance by partner schools. The Campus Success Coordinator will monitor and evaluate campus compliance with HB1416 requirements; oversee the Gifted/Talented program for the district; & work in collaboration with the Director of Curriculum & Instruction to develop a system for the selection, purchase, and inventory of Instructional Materials for the district. Works alongside Innovation team to create success for schools & district. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned Special Knowledge/Skills: ? Thorough knowledge of the state testing program and accountability system ? Ability to use student test data systems ? Ability to interpret data and perform data analysis ? Ability to use personal computer and software programs to collect, report, and present data and test-related information ? Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners ? Excellent organizational, communication, public relations and interpersonal skills ? Through knowledge of charter schools and charter school authorizing ? Thorough knowledge of TEA policies and procedures related to System of Great Schools ? Ability to analyze law and policy and develop clear, succinct guidance documents ? Ability to evaluate educational program performance ? Strong quantitative and technical skills including the use of databases ? Knowledge of best practices for data management including data storage and quality assurance Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience working within a school district or state department of education Past experience as a District Test Coordinator or demonstrated knowledge thereof MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Testing 1. Implement procedures for ensuring security and confidentiality of state-mandated testing programs and other assessments. Direct and oversee test implementation and monitor testing activities to ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines met. 2. Provide timely support for testing administrators. 3. Consult with staff to provide appropriate testing accommodation for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students and students receiving special services. 4. Identify, investigate, and address testing irregularities. Report discrepancies and disciplinary actions taken against students as required. Analysis and Collaboration 5. Develop and distribute statistical studies, analysis, and evaluation reports as required. 6. Work with instructional teams to analyze test data and develop student achievement goals and objectives. 7. Consult with district staff to develop, administer, and interpret assessment guidelines and procedures. Recordkeeping, Reporting, and Inventory 8. Maintain and ensure integrity of testing data. Ensure all materials and data are submitted within established timelines. 9. Complete evaluation and compliance reports as required by federal and state programs. 10. Track and monitor location of test materials throughout the distribution, return, and storage process. 11. Compile, maintain, file, and secure all reports, records, and other required documents. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and the local board policy. 14. Contribute to the development and delivery of training for district and campus test administrators to ensure that tests are conducted and procedures are consistently followed. 15. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures. 16. Provide ad hoc support to the Director of Innovation to ensure timely and effective communication between the district and its partner schools; 17. Conduct campus Instructional walks; 18. Campus & district level data driven informational leadership; 19. Work in collaboration with the Director of Innovation & Director of CIPD to develop a system for the selection, purchase, and inventory of Instructional Materials for the district. 20. Support the Director of School Success in developing and implementing annual training and orientation protocols for school partners; 21. Support the Director of School Success in developing and managing an ongoing Call for Quality Schools process; 22. Support the Director of Innovation in providing the Chief Innovation Officer with regular and comprehensive updates regarding the progress of school partners relative to the performance contract expectations; 23. Support the Director of School Success in resolving all school partner related complaints or other issues and coordinate investigations as necessary; 24. Fulfill the requirements to serve as the project manager on assigned TCLAS decision points; Provide training as appropriate for district employees as well as operating partners. 25. Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of regulations. 26. Maintain confidentiality in the conduct of district business. 27. Occasionally perform work beyond a standard 40-hour work week when work-load requires. 28. Serve as the district's Test Coordinator for all purposes related to state tests and engage as necessary with the state, other district offices, and school-based testing staff to ensure an effective and compliant implementation of annual state testing 29. Serve as the district's coordinator for the IOWA and engage as necessary with other district offices, partner organization staff, and school-based testing staff to ensure an effective and compliant implementation of the IOWA 30. Serve as the district's coordinator for GT testing and identification 31. Provide data and reports to the Director of Innovation, the Supervisor of the Welcome Center, , and others as directed by the Deputy of Innovation & Student Performance 32.
