Liquid Engineering Corporation (LEC), located in Billings, MT, a division of Pittsburg Tank and Tower Group currently has job opportunities available for entry level and experienced diver/tenders. The ideal candidate will be able to work at great heights, be away from home for extended periods, and be able to assist LEC dive teams with operations associated with the cleaning, inspection and repair of potable water tanks and towers. Food and lodging are provided while in the field.Job Summary:The LEC Diver / Tenders primary duties are in support of potable water diving operations and include:
- Equipment set-up and breakdown
- Dive tending
- Air rack operations
- In-water cleaning
- In-water coating repair
- In-water inspection
- Structural photography
- Hand and power tool operations
- Pneumatic and hydraulic tool operations
- Operation of company vehicles
- Additional duties as directed
Qualifications:
- Must have graduated from a recognized commercial dive school.
- Must have a current dive physical.
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and whole-body movement, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, swimming, and handling of both light and heavy loads.
- Must possess current First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Administration certifications.
- Must possess a valid drivers license with an MVR free from serious or frequent violations.
- Must be comfortable working at great heights and in confined spaces.
- Must have the ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
- Must have the ability to read and follow dive tables, repet tables, and altitude tables, etc.
- Must have the ability to operate and maintain commercial diving equipment.
- Must have a positive attitude and work well with a team.
- Must be willing to work in the field at various locations across the country for 8 to 12 weeks per run.
- Must be able to work in outside environments with exposure to a variety of weather conditions and water temperatures.
