Visit www.callahan-inc.com for more information.Summary/Objective: We are seeking an experienced professional for the role of Diversity and Inclusion Manager. This person will work closely with our Operations and Estimating Teams, Business Development, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership in ensuring Callahan is aligned with promoting diversity and inclusion throughout our projects and work sites.Corporate/Project Functions:
- Manage the Callahan Diversity and Inclusion Program, as well as the associated goals and commitments
- Oversee and manage D&I deliverables with Project Teams
- Formulate and enhance community contracting strategy to maximize participation by MBE/WBE/Section 3 Trade Partners
- Host networking events for MBE/WBE/Section 3 Trade Partners
- Facilitate programs for mentorship to MBE/WBE/Section 3 Trade Partners
- Work cross functionally with Operations, Human Resources, Callahan Academy Learning and Development, and Estimating
- Stay abreast of new and current trends by attending industry programs and representing Callahan within the community, as well as at business functions and events
- Build relationships with local officials and governmental agencies
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement pursuits and activities/events
- Assist in planning and advertising philanthropic events
- Provide support for team members through mentorship and training
- Leverage employee resource groups and mentorship throughout the industry
- Build and strengthen relationships with diverse trade partner base
- Oversee compliance and reporting deliverables relating to diversity and inclusion
- Provide Callahan Senior Leadership with insight and suggested changes that can be made to provide a more supportive and equitable work environment to build a more diverse trade contractor base
- Partner with Callahan's philanthropic arm to identify charitable opportunities
- Drive Community Outreach Programs for Callahan

Required Education and Experience:
- 4+ years of related experience in a similar role within the AEC industry
- Experience implementing MBE/WBE/Section 3 Trade Partner Programs
- BS/BA Degree
- Established relationships within the AEC and local community
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Certified Payroll Reporting and Auditing
