Overview JOB SUMMARY: Directs the Divisions accounting functions, manages company assets and working capital, and measures division performance to meet or exceed GSF and division objectives. Responsibilities Plans and directs the Divisions accounting functions to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and to meet GSF and division performance objectives. (30%) Directs and conducts various special projects and feasibility studies for new products, new customers, or business opportunities to meet corporate strategic objectives. (20%) Oversees periodic financial reporting to ensure timely, accurate, and thorough information for division and corporate management on working capital and capital spending, and to protect company assets. (15%) Develops and disseminates the annual business plan to establish performance objectives and to comply with corporate guidelines. (15%) Directs or performs a variety of financial or accounting activities (budget preparation, sales data, costs, audits, etc.) to meet specific Division operating requirements. (10%) Interacts with Information Services to represent the Division and to collaborate on the implementation of new applications. (10%) Adheres to food safety, quality and legal compliance. In the event of a crisis (i.e. product recall, fire, etc.) delegate responsibilities as outlined in the Crisis Communications and Management Guide. Adheres to safety, health and environmental standards of the facility. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of (B/basic; J/journey; E/expert): Generally accepted accounting principles (E) PC word processing/spreadsheet software (E) Cost accounting (E) Pricing concepts and techniques (E) Budgetary concepts and techniques (J) Company computer systems (J) Skill and ability to: Manage and motivate employees in a team-based environment Analyze and resolve complex problems Identify accounting problems or anomalies and identify appropriate solutions Prepare a variety of comprehensive administrative and technical documents Prepare and deliver presentations to management and customers Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service Travel via airplane and drive an automobile Act in accordance with GSFs Values and Creed LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY Manages, through subordinate supervisors, up to 3 employees.
