Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Division Human Resource Manager for their Human Resources Department. The right candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of Human Resources and payroll at the division level. Serve as liaison between Corporate and Division as well as handle all employee relations issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Recruitment* New hire processing* Assist managers with employee concerns on disciplinary action* Make managers aware of company policies relating to certain management responsibilities* New hire orientation* Reference checks* Conduct benefits Open Enrollment meetings* Be available to answer employee questions concerning benefits and HR policies* Responsible for division payroll. Distribute timesheets and paychecks to all division staff twice monthly. Collect, review, correct and obtain approval of timesheets. Input hours and vacation time for forward to Corporate* Process salary increases, bonuses, transfers, promotions and terminations* Maintain vacation calendar and notify department managers of vacation/sick/personal time balances* Administer worker's compensation for division* Make sure all HR regulations are followed* Help train staff* Manage subordinate administrative staffSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises two or more employees in the Main Office. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.
