This position implements strategies to advance the division's clinical competencies, while ensuring quality and compliance standards are met according to all regulatory bodies. Acts as a strategic partner to various internal teams in an effort to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
- Oversees the division's quality efforts by utilizing data to identify trends and implementing quality improvement actions. This includes the oversight of regulatory requirements, Brookdale Excellence Standards (BEST) Tool audits and key Brookdale clinical metrics and clinical systems.
- Participates in developing and managing relationships, including supplier-related programs, immunization clinics, as well as EHR management, and vendor business reviews within the division.
- Develops and oversees the implementation and execution of clinical processes, programs, and healthcare/clinical policies and procedures to ensure care and services rendered to residents are clinically appropriate and promote optimum efficiencies.
- Supervises and trains Director, Clinical Services Specialists, Regional Nurses, HWDs/DCSs as needed, and other disciplines as assigned.
- Ensures regulatory compliance including reviewing survey preparedness, management and outcomes assisting with Plans of Correction and providing division, regional, or district teams with support in the development and implementation of action plans.
- Participates in committee and program roll-outs by supporting the required training and implementation schedules.
- Acts as a designee in the absence of Divisional VP of Clinical Services.
- Attends community and divisional leadership trainings as available, or as directed.
- Assists with internal and external investigations by providing information and insight based on expertise.
- Provides leadership to the division's Personal Solutions program.This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
