Bailey is searching for an experienced Dock & Door Technician to join our team based out of our branch in Knoxville, TN. Bailey is expanding with a new business unit focused on installation and service of Docks & Doors and this position will play a vital in the success of this new area. This is a high-impact position and will be a growth opportunity for the right candidate. The Dock & Door Service Technician is responsible for installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and inspecting commercial/industrial overhead doors, loading docks, dock leveling systems, and other warehouse equipment. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Represent Bailey as the primary point of contact for all commercial Dock & Door customers within a service area.Install, service, and repair commercial/industrial doors, door opening systems, loading/warehouse docks, and dock leveling systems.Perform preventative maintenance on Bailey equipment and systems at customer sites. Troubleshoot dock and door equipment, mechanisms, mechanical systems, and electrical circuits.Ensure quality through checking for proper installation, balance, and clearance.Proactively address customer needs and expand Bailey business through prompt, friendly, and safe service.Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
