Explor Crater Lake, LLC. Summary of Position: Responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring dock safety at all times and maintaining the marina facility and equipment.
Responsibilities: - Process and complete boat rentals and launch boats.
- Orient boat rental customers on proper safety procedures and provide accurate instructions related to life-safety devices.
- Clean, inspect and report on the condition of the rental fleet.
- Operate boats and other equipment as requested in a safe and responsible manner.
- Refuel boats as required adhering to all safety procedures.
- Assist other Dockhands with securing boats to docks.
- Assist with ticket sales.
Requirements: - Must be able to lift kayaks, boats and outboard motors in and out of the water.
- Possess line handling skills including ability to tie various knots, toss and cleat lines.
- Possess unlimited ability to swim and work safely around water or on ladders or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat and stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
Education and Experience: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year customer service experience
- Prior dockhand experience preferred.
