At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers. We have immediate openings for our Dock Worker/Forklift Operator 3rd Shift position Full Time - Mon thru Fri $20 - $21 Per hour What you will do on a typical shift: Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freightUse appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by handSecure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and suppliesWork in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policiesWork on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods of time and may be slipperyLift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionallyBe able to do math with and without a calculator What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP: Strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment with great communication skillsTo be at least 18 years of age It would be great if you also have: Dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industryForklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environmentExperience loading and unloading trailersDesire to succeed with a strong attention to detail Benefits for FT Employees Include: Generous Vacation PolicyPersonal Days -3 per yearHolidays - 9 per year including your birthdayMedical Plan - 75% funded by companyVisionLife insurance company paidShort Term Disability company paidFSA/DCA (flexible spending account/dependent care reimbursement account)401(k) Plan with company match We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
