POSITION SUMMARY:

(THIS IS AN ON-SITE DOCK WORKER POSITION)

Company seeking candidates for the 2nd shift Warehouse Associates

Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient manner to avoid shipping errors that result in customer claims or complaints.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Load and unload trailers

* Perform re-weighs for each shift

* Perform daily freight inspections and inspection of lift truck and other equipment

* Inspects trailers for suitability before loading

* Perform basic housekeeping

* Recoup/palletize/shrink wrap freight as needed

* Perform other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Knowledge of basic dock procedure

* Forklift experience in dock setting

* Ability to identify, report on recurring problems/safety issues

* 1-2 years of forklift experience

* Forklift certification is wanted but not required

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

* 1-2 years forklift experience

* HS Diploma
