Job Description:
The Document Control Associate is an entry level, overtime eligible position that reports to the Document Control Manager and supports the documentation department.Essential Functions
  • Assist in drafting, revising, and obsoleting documents including but not limited to SOPs, operator manuals, marketing documents, purchasing specifications, technical documents, and labels.
  • Support the process of improvement using quality assurance philosophies and best practices.
  • Maintain quality documentation from across the organization within a Quality Management System.
  • Perform QA review of documents and adjust to fit Charm Sciences' formatting and quality standards.
  • Complete operational tasks in support of organizational projects.
  • Perform validations for new system integration or upgrades.
  • Assist in leading or participating in projects related to improving Document Control processes.
  • Ensure information is correct and current within the QMS.
  • Control the distribution of controlled documents ensuring the use of only correct versions.

Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesRequired:
  • Associate degree in science or technology related field.
  • 0 - 3 years of QA or Documentation experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, follow instructions, schedules, and timelines.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Diligent, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM with some flexibility.
Preferred:
  • GMP, GLP, GDP, or ISO experience
  • Experience utilizing a QMS (e.g. EtQ or MasterControl)
  • Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign experience
  • Solidworks Pro experience
  • CAPA experience
  • Auditing experience
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its application in Quality Assurance programs
Physical Requirements
  • Able to remain in a stationary position for an extended length of time.
  • Able to work at a computer for an extended length of time.
  • Able to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
