Job LocationWI Darien - Darien, WIPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelHigh SchoolJob Shift1st ShiftJob CategoryQA - Quality ControlJob Posting Date(s)Start Date: 11/19/2024DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Document Control Coordinator shall be proficient in ISO compliant Document Control practices, administer, monitor, review and maintain the Document Control process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESScan, file, document, reply, respond, make copies, emails, follow-ups and communicate directly with personnel from all departments involving questions, concerns and issues pertaining to documents, folders, drawings and customer data.Serve as a resource/ liaison between the engineering department, management and production departments.Work directly and effectively with engineering department to ensure all needs and requirements are met and maintained for ISO standards, regulations and policies.Responsible for control and timely distribution of drawings, drawing updates and releases to production.Generate, maintain and keep all logs current and update with all data retrieved from EE/ME/SM & Test Dept.: Job Status Log List, EE/ME/SM Engineering Job Description Log, and EE/ME/SM Sign-out Drawing Release Log & Test Dept. Log. Plus any additional logs and lists that pertain to DCC and production release information.Prepare all documentation/drawings and requests for Test Dept. for Bench Test & Skid Test drawings. Send Bill of Material (BOM) to Purchasing Dept. and Programming along with Reference copies for the MRP manager. Make copies of all drawings for dept and stamp with date & Job #'s and release to production.File all Drawing release forms (once completed and signed by all shop mgrs) in the EE/ME/SM in the appropriate binders for future reference and ISO policies and rules for documentation.Assists with the maintenance and organization of Quality Records.Other duties as directed by management.QualificationsRequires High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).Ability to prioritize and manage time well.Understanding of ISO 9001 Standards.Ability to handle multiple tasks.Word, Excel, Access and electronic document management systems (Epicor), experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independent of direct supervision.The right candidate shall possess a minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to Quality Systems.Power Solutions International is an EOE disability/vet company offering a drug free workplace.
