Job ID: 676665BR Date posted: Sep. 23, 2024Description:The Classified Document Control Custodian is responsible for managing, safeguarding, and controlling classified information and documents within a government contractor environment. This role ensures that all classified materials are handled, stored, and distributed according to established security protocols and in compliance with government regulations, such as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The position plays a critical role in protecting national security and maintaining the integrity of sensitive information.Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of classified documents and information in compliance with NISPOM, DoD regulations, and company policies. - Create, maintain, and update classified document control logs and databases. - Perform routine and special inventories of classified documents. - Track the lifecycle of classified materials, including receipt, distribution, reproduction, transmission, storage, and destruction.- Implement and enforce security procedures for the handling of classified documents, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal policies. - Conduct self-inspection reviews and audits of classified document management processes. - Ensure that all classified information is appropriately marked and disseminated only to individuals with proper clearance and need-to-know. - Assist in the development and implementation of security training programs related to classified document control. - Liaise with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other relevant agencies for audits, inspections, and assessments.Basic Qualifications:-High School diploma-Must possess active Secret security clearance.-Knowledge of the NISPOM.-Minimum of 2 years of experience working in classified document control, security administration or a related field.-Strong attention to detail.-Organizational skills.Desired Skills:-Bachelors degree-Top Secret clearance-5 years of experience working as a Document Control custodian.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $43,100 - $82,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $49,600 - $89,900.
