On their behalf, we manage (or service )their loan portfolios, which means that we collect homeowners' mortgage payments, pay their tax and insurance bills, and help homeowners in default to get current.Primary FunctionThe Document Verification Specialist is responsible for review, validation, and execute legal documents related to the foreclosure process. The Document Verification Specialist must be well organized and detail-oriented with a specific focus on efficient production of quality results.Direct Reports

  • Timely and accurately review, validate, and execute documents related to foreclosure actions.
  • Provide clear, concise feedback to foreclosure firms on documents that require revision.
  • Calculate, prepare, compile, and provide judgment figures and other debt information to attorneys.
  • Ensure accounts are properly documented with accurate and comprehensive status updates.
  • Follow established company guidelines, department policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all investor requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to shorten timelines, drive performance and minimize losses for the department, company, clients, and investors.
  • Potentially may testify at deposition/trial in person, by telephone, or Zoom.
  • Assist on other projects as assigned by management.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • High school diploma required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • 2+ years foreclosure experience required.
  • 3+ years direct foreclosure or mortgage servicing related experience required.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
  • Proficiency of Black Knight/LPS required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office- Outlook and Excel.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe/FoxIt PDF editor.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities by maintaining a daily worklist in addition to other assignments.
  • Excellent computer and internet skills.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and be able to work with general supervision applying established procedures and specific standards.
  • Required to work in physical office location.
