Randstad is partnering with one of our national clients in the global engineering industry, and recruiting candidates to join their team as a Documentation Control Specialist. This contract assignment would require you to be local to the Pinetops, NC area. Please see the job description below for more details.   • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience in documentation management or a similar role.
  • Understanding of document management systems and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
salary: $23 - $25 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Technical Contribution:
  • Manage documentation to ensure proper version control in the document management system.
  • Maintain documentation compliance with company and project procedures, including format, receipt, registration, numbering, filing, recovery, and issuance.
  • Assist in the preparation of the project document list; periodically update and issue the document list and progress reports as per schedule.
  • Collaborate with engineers to create and consolidate operator instructions; verify content through observation.
  • Work with managers to create and update site-level procedures; ensure verification with respective managers.
Technical Leadership and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Communicate effectively and provide relevant information to stakeholders and customers.
Processes and Tools:
  • Contribute to process enhancements related to document management and utilize the document management system efficiently.
Planning and Control:
  • Code issued documents and ensure compliance in reviews, numbering, distribution, filing, and registration.
  • Monitor the progress of project documentation and update the receipt and document distribution information register.
  • Communicate deadlines to the project team for document delivery.
  • Organize final documents and maintain them in the internal or external archive.
  • Monitor and report on actual versus planned time for document management work packages.
