Job DetailsJob Location Strongsville OH - Strongsville, OH Job Category Training Description This position is responsible for executing the scheduled audits of UHM's internal policies, procedures, and other documentation. This role collaborates with UHM's Technical Writers, department managers, and Subject-Matter-Experts to proofread, edit, and publish internal guides, training manuals, job aids, and other written communications. - Manage the coordination and execution of scheduled audits for UHM's internal policies, procedures, and other documentation for quality control testing.
- Copyedit and proofread documents received from department managers and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with document owners to edit job aids, training guides, policies, and procedures for departments throughout UHM.
- Format documents according to UHM's branding and copyright standards.
- Maintain records for UHM document management process.
- Maintain version control of all internal published documents in accordance with UHM document retention and distribution policies.
- Other duties as assigned to support the training department.
QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4-year higher education with focus in Technical Writing, English, or similar.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Highly skilled in English grammar, spelling, and syntax.
- Experience with, or education in, Chicago Manual of Style.
- Quick to learn new technologies and applications for creating documents.
- Highly detail oriented and high critical thinking skills.
- Able to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled at multi-tasking and staying organized.
