LMI seeks an experienced Energy Data Analyst to support, improve and expand energy efficiencies and capabilities for a current Federal client.

Responsibilities
- Assess, analyze current and future concepts of operation, campaign and operational plans, force structure to inform energy related policy and resourcing decisions, to include requirement demands, sustainment capabilities, threats to US/allies/partners energy and energy logistics assets, and potential mitigation options.
- Support the client with analysis of energy use, distribution, generation, storage, and management; the execution and/or review of energy supportability analyses as part of the Energy Key Performance Parameter (KPP) and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS).
- Conduct statistical modeling of fuel and power requirements for steady state and warfighting scenarios, and review the bulk fuel and power supportability and feasibility of theater posture, operation plans, concept plans, and installations.
- Apply operations research and other data analytical methods to facilitate decision making and justify resource allocation.
- Provide support for the transition of the client to become a data-driven organization.
- Perform in-depth analysis to facilitate informed decision making and policy development.
- Provide support and directdevelopment for data collection, data quality assurance, and in-depth analysis related to installation and operational energy.
- Support the management and development of the Annual Energy Management Performance, and Resilience, and Readiness (AEPRR) Report. This includes leading working group meetings throughout the year, preparing data calls, collecting and curating data, developing spreadsheets, integrating data from multiple stakeholders, analyzing results, developing charts and graphics, drafting, coordinating and preparing the final report for publication.
- Maintain spreadsheets and databases in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBI, or other tools, as needed – proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
- Provide programmatic and policy support for initiatives that improve and automate data collection processes including development and calculation of metrics to show progress and models to support analysis.
- Provide programmatic and policy support for initiatives to improve data analytic capabilities for installation energy and operational energy.
- Provide programmatic and policy support for initiatives that support the increased implementation of metering, software upgrades, and optimized sensors and controls to increase energy visibility and functionality and facilitate data-informed energy management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in: Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Management Science, or 10 or more years' commensurate professional experience in DoD Engineering (Systems or Energy Engineering Field) or DoD Operations Research or more years analytic experience.
- Experience programming/developing and deploying DoD-oriented models and simulations for analytic wargaming and/or operational research.
- Knowledge of DoD organizations and structures.
- Knowledge and understanding of, and practical experience in, the application of quality management techniques.

Target salary range: $74,000 - $130,000
