Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for an Information Support Plan Specialist (ISP) to join one of our largest defense clients that are based out of Warren, MI; this position can be fully remote. This person will be responsbile for providing technical and engineering support for ISP development and approval. The work products include ISPs and KR KPPs using the DoD Information Systems Agency (DISA) joint assessments and standards management (JASM) tool set to develop ISPs and Net Ready Key Performances (NR KPPs). This person will be reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyzes, as well as other technical documentation. They will apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, and plan military weapons and other systems. This position also works cross functionally with Army Acquisition Programs, DISA, Joint Chiefs, and the Army G6. Other responsibilities include: - Reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses and other technical documentation - Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, and plan military weapons and other system - Acquisition documentation and coordinating for approval of ISPs and NR KPPs - Analyze functional requirements of military systems and translate them from operational to system solutions and architectures to include communications, information, and network areas of consideration - Complete data and information in the JASM for military systems - Recommend and prepare schedules and work requirements to develop ISPs and NR KPPs - Be familiar with and understand DoD standards$30/hr to $65/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. - Bachelor's Degree in Information or Engineering field - Active Interim or Secret Clearance - 3+ years of experience with information Support Plans (ISP) within the DoD space - Familiar with Joint Assessments and Standards Management (JASM) and/or Net Ready Key Performance (NR KPPs) - 3+ years of planning and execution experience - Familiar with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and/or Unified Architecture Foundation (UAF) - Familiar with DoD communications, information, and computer systems and processes - Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
