Position Overview:
As a SkillBridge Recruiter Intern, you will support the recruitment team in identifying, engaging, and selecting top talent for various roles within the company. This internship is designed for transitioning service members who are interested in pursuing a career in recruitment and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, military networks, and other channels.
+ Screening: Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications.
+ Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
+ Applicant Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
+ Employer Branding: Assist in promoting the company's brand, particularly in military and veteran communities.
+ Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
+ Data Management: Track and report on key recruitment metrics, helping to optimize the hiring process.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align candidates accordingly.
Qualifications:
+ Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience preferred, but not required.
+ Currently serving in the U.S. military and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program.
+ Is within 4 to 12 months of separation or retirement.
+ Will receive an honorable discharge.
+ Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
+ Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
+ Received Unit Commander written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to the start of the internship.
+ Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications as per DODI 1322.29.
+ Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Previous experience with ATS or CRM systems is a plus.
+ Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
