We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Dog Groomer position. As a premier facility, Canine College offers a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with experts in the field of dog behavior and husbandry at our picturesque country estate located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Grooming and bathing dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Ability to prepare foods. Ability to administer topical and oral medications as needed. Interacting with clients. When needed, assist in daily kennel duties including maintaining a clean facility. Qualifications: Must be 18 or older to apply. Strong work ethic and love of dogs and other animals. Prior experience working with dogs is preferred. Must be reliable and punctual. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, walk up hills, and be on your feet for approximately 6 hours a day. Service-oriented with strong communication skills. Must demonstrate good judgment and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
