Purpose: The Donor Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the overall database management, administrative and social media support for the development department. This position is a intricate part of fundraising and development success for the organization, and therefore will support all activities, events and projects as needed with support and oversight from Director.

1. Database Management
A. Provide direct oversight of donor database. Responsible for entering all data into system and ensuring it is accurate and up to date. Draft personalized acknowledgement letters for individual donors and corporate sponsors to properly acknowledge contributions on a regular basis.
B. Draft e-blasts and e-invitations through donor database system to designated donor lists as needed.
C. Research missing donor information including contact information, work history, social networks, and associations, as well as collect and maintain donor cultivation encounters.
D. Generate and publish donor engagement and fundraising metrics & reporting as needed.
E. Other responsibilities as needed.
2. Social Media & E-blast Communication
* Support department and team with drafting and coordinating social media communication on Friends of Trillium Health social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)
* Participate as a content contributor for social media account and works to ensure consistent branding and content management and curation. Regular monitoring of the site for comments, questions, feedback, etc. Curate content management plans for online platforms, including creative development and scheduling of all posts on a regular (weekly) basis, to include events, other development campaign information, and key programs and agency initiatives.
* Support department and team with drafting and coordinating all e-blast communications through MailChimp platform. Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging content for donors is required for this role.
3. Special Events, Fundraising & Development Support
* Provide the Director and team with general support for all special events, including setup, day of event support, and logistical planning as needed.
* Ensure all records relating to event sponsorships and donations are accurately tracked and recognized in the donor database. This includes promotional materials, receipts, lists of attendees, volunteers and feedback from participants.
* Support additional events hosted by Trillium Health as needed (e.g. Open House), community partner events where Trillium is a premier sponsor (e.g. PRIDE), and events for other partners where Trillium Health is providing the venue.
* Assist Director with tracking and stewarding of key donors. Assist with research and creation of donor prospect sheets for cultivation and solicitation as needed.
* Other responsibilities as needed.
4. General Administrative Support
* Supports the Director of Development with calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, greeting guests, meeting set-up and tear down, invoice and payment requests, and other clerical duties as requested.
* Organizes and manages department files, develops and prepares donor packets, coordinating donor meetings, etc.
* Support Trillium Health Foundation operations, assist with preparation for board meetings, take meeting minutes, prepare slides and presentations and other duties.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Minimum 2 years' experience working in a development role, administrative capacity or other relevant work experience. Previous donor database experience is a plus! Excellent computer skills, ability to organize and follow through of tasks, ability to multi-task, are a must. Regional travel and some evening and weekend hours required.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
