Responsibilities:

We're looking for teammates who share our passion for creating equitable access to nutritious food and addressing the root causes and impact of hunger. The Donor Services Manager will provide direct support to the Director of Philanthropy and lead a team responsible for gift recognition, database management, reporting between Fund Development and Finance and fulfillment and reconciliation of all donations. This position serves as the primary liaison with key vendors and manages NAP tax credits.

Other aspects of the job:

This position functions in an office environment and requires local travel in the service area. Some evening hours are required. It requires daily extensive writing and public speaking. Work venues vary from office to social events, to presentations, to large and small meetings and interactions with individuals, involving a variety of environments. This position requires an understanding of all Harvesters' food safety policies and compliance with all food safety related procedures. This position meets the requirements and may be eligible for a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Required Experience and Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in fund development using and maintaining a Raiser's Edge Enterprise database
  • 3 years of experience leading a team, with a proven ability to develop and support staff in achieving organizational goals
  • Have a dedication to the mission of Harvesters.
  • Able to effectively communicate and interact with donors, volunteers, co-workers and the public by adhering to the highest ethical standards, demonstrate empathetic disposition and perseverance, reflect optimistic and positive attitude and convey sensitivity to the needs of donors.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Balance multiple projects, including the ability to manage timelines, work on multiple deadlines, multi-task and collaborate with others to achieve goals in a lively office environment.
  • Digital literacy with experience in Word, Excel, Microsoft Office
  • Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years in fund development or non-profit environment
  • 5 years in a management role
  • Experience with Omatic
  • Solid understanding of Blackbaud products
  • Required Education
  • Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in this area of work
  • Preferred Education
  • Degree in Non-Profit Management or Related Field
  • Coursework in information technology as it relates to database management, MIS or related field
