Essential Functions:
The Donor Support Representative provides excellent customer service in a timely and efficient manner to donors, sponsors, contributors, and adjoining teams at Plan International USA - contributing to the satisfaction and retention of our sponsors and donors.
The Donor Support Representative will print, process digital and postal communications and fulfill marketing initiatives.
This is an in-person role based in Providence, RI. The weekly schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
If you are an organized and motivated team player interested in starring in a key support role in an international girls' rights organization, this role is for you. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
A few of the things you will be responsible for:
* Outsourcing of Sponsorship Kits
* Printing operations include daily correspondence to donors/sponsors and internal print requests, as needed
* Data Imports of Sponsored Child Updates and Sponsor Child Information (SCU/SCI)
* Data entry of digital/postal child communications
* Insert and match letters to printed envelopes in preparation for mailing
* Prepares outbound mail for pickup from vendor
* Data entry of digital/postal sponsor communications, postal/web orders of bounce-backs and marketing initiatives
* Metric counts; Track own individual performance towards pre-determined monthly goals which includes correspondence to and from sponsors and sponsored children
* Files sponsor communications logged by the team for International mailing
* Prepares and mails international packages for shipment
* Back-up to the Mailroom Coordinator to retrieve mail at post office, daily
* Sort incoming sponsor mail accordingly
Skills and Competencies:
* You're a customer focused, organized person with excellent numeric data entry and math skills
* You're team oriented and work well collaboratively with others
* You're a great communicator, both verbally and in writing
* Your computer skills include Word, Excel, and Outlook. You can navigate these programs with ease
* You know how to download documents, crop photos, and print
* Photoshop CS knowledge a plus but not required
* Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lbs.
* You're a problem-solver and you're quick on your feet - you identify and resolve issues before they become problems like it's no big deal
* You can prioritize various responsibilities as they relate to daily work activities and multi-task
* Candidate needs valid driver's license for mail pick up
Education and Experience:
* Associates degree preferred but not required
* 1-2 years equivalent/similar work preferred
* Salesforce knowledge a plus
