Are you an Experienced Commercial Door and Hardware Technician or a Low Voltage Hardware Technician. Have a minimum of Four (4) Years experience with Installing and Repairing Hollow Metal Doors and Frames, Storefront Aluminum Doors and Frames, and Wood Doors, along with Commercial Door Hardware. Including Electronic Door Hardware, Access Control Systems, and Security Cameras. We're looking for skilled professionals to join our team in our suburban Maryland Office. Serving the Washington, DC Metro Area. Role Summary: As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for conducting Commercial Job Site locations to measure or evaluate what is needed for the project. Experienced with installations of all types of Commercial Properties as it pertains to renovations, new construction, and repairs and replacements to commercial swinging doors and hardware. Experienced with the repair or replacement of doors, frames, and hardware, including Low Voltage Door Hardware. Key Responsibilities: Able to Communicate effectively with customers and contractors Able to interpret Architectural Plans and Specifications. Able to follow detailed instructions and work orders. Able to complete assigned work without callbacks. Have a good understanding of OSHA Safety Requirements. Have a good understanding of Life Safety and ADA Codes as it pertains Doors and Hardware. Requirements: Have a minimum of Four (4) Years experience. Live in the Washington, DC or Suburban Maryland area or be willing to relocate. In-depth understanding of all types of Commercial Swinging Doors and Hardware. Strong communication skills to liaise with contractors and customers. Experienced at completing assigned work within allotted time without call-backs. Have a clear understanding of OSHA Safety Requirements. Have a good understanding of Life Safety and ADA Codes pertaining to Doors and Hardware. Proficient in reading Plans, Specifications and Work Orders to ensure accuracy and compliance. Have a good understanding of Fire Codes, Life Safety Codes, and ADA Codes. Must include wage requirements currently earning and the wage needed to relocate. Located in Maryland just outside of Washington, DC. This position is with a family owned and operated door and hardware company.
