Sterling, ILDepartment: Dorothy's MarketReports To: Dorothy's Market ManagerWage Range: $15.73-$22.40As a Dorothy's Market Reclaimer, you will receive and evaluate the product condition, loading, and unloading trailers, merchandise pricing, stocking shelves, and additional duties as required.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Loads/unloads product from trailers manually or with forklift equipment.
- Identifies and evaluates product condition for reclaim
- Inputting accurate inventory quantities in retail system
- Researching item information for errors utilizing multiple systems
- Serve as backup driver for Dorothy's Market delivery truck
- Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to deal with pressure and work with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Effective math skills
- Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Previous grocery or retail experience
- Previous computer experience
- Previous experience in Microsoft Excel
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays.
- Hours: 5:30am - 4:00pm
- Frozen Warehouse
- Regular moving and lifting of heavy objects and machinery up to 50 pounds
- Excessive standing or walking on concrete as well as working inside and outside in all weather conditions
