Location: Charlotte (Hybrid 3 days onsite / week)

Terms: Contract (1 Year with extensions expected)

Project is for an internal web application built using .NET MVC, responsible for the reconciliation of several datasets fed into other internal applications. Experience with API and SQL development are a plus, but neither are required

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Research Management Systems team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that support critical business operations across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the successful delivery of an essential data reconnaissance platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable software applications that meet the needs of the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, QA, and Operations, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the improvement of software engineering standards, processes, and tools.
  • Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of software development experience, with a focus on frontend or full-stack development using .NET for the web.Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address challenges and identify obstacles for the team.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks on time.
    • Proven experience as a Software Engineer in a software development or data management role, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
