As a Double Disk Grinder Operator, you'll play a critical role in our manufacturing process. You will receive hands-on training to operate and maintain double disk grinding machines, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining machine functionality and managing waste streams (e.g., coolant and by-products).
• Achieving daily production goals and promptly reporting work stoppages to your supervisor.
• Monitoring in-process part quality using precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, digital calipers, test dial indicators, and profilometers.
• Supporting additional manufacturing tasks as needed.

This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual eager to learn, grow, and expand their skill set in machining and manufacturing.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate should have:

• A genuine interest in machining and manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
• A willingness to be cross-trained in various manufacturing tasks.

Location & Commitments

• Full-time, permanent position located at facility in Paso Robles, CA.
• A consistent four 10-hour shifts schedule, allowing for three-day weekends.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods in a stationary position.
• Frequent use of computer equipment.

Eligibility Requirements

• Pass pre-employment medical physical and drug screening.
• Clear a Federal Criminal Background Check (ATF permit requirement).
• Provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
