Drafter - Civil Site Engineering /Land Development POWER Engineers, Inc. seeks a Drafter to work in the Civil Engineering Department. The position entails drafting and designing opportunities on electrical utility and renewables projects, including supporting site civil and land development engineering-plan and profiles, grading and earthwork, erosion control, stormwater management and drainage, and access roads. Flexibility is available in a hybrid work environment.
Required Education/Experience - Associate degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree)
- AutoCAD 2016-2024 experience
- Experience with MicroStation a plus
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments as changes occur in project needs
- Willing and able to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy
- The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with other team members
Desired Education/Experience - 3 years of drafting experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation in a Civil Engineering practice
- Experience with the following software packages is a plus:
- Bluebeam Revu
- Microsoft Office
- ProjectWise
- Good background in site development and construction including the electrical utility industry
