SummaryWe are seeking a skilled individual to use software to convert designs into technical drawings and plans. The role involves preparing precise technical drawings for use in construction projects.
Essential Functions- Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.
- Develop technical drawings from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects.
- Collaborate in designing products using engineering and manufacturing techniques.
- Enhance architectural plans by incorporating knowledge of building techniques.
- Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects.
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
- Work under the supervision of Senior Leadership.
Education, Qualities & Skills Required- Minimum 2-year degree with at least 5 years of HVAC/Plumbing estimation experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD® and MS Office products.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Previous experience as a drafter is essential.
