SUMMARYDesigns and prepares technical drawings and plans.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Liaises with architects and engineers and uses software to convert their designs into technical drawings.* Supports Engineers, Technologists, Architects, and other professionals by producing designsand drawings based on exact specifications.* Generates technical designs.* Researches data for drafts.* Creates 3D designs.* Maintains regular and punctual attendance.* Performs other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNone.Job RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* Four (4) years of related experience required.* Associates degree required.* Experience preparing technical drawings and plans.* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.* Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks (U.S. Citizenship required).DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS* Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in technical design work.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and apply complex data effectively.* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.WORK SCHEDULEFull-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.TRAVELThe expected travel time is less than 10%.DRIVING REQUIREMENTSNone.WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.PHYSICAL DEMANDSPosition consists of seeing up close, sitting for long periods of time, and occasionally standing or walking. Frequent use of hands/fingers for manipulation of computer keyboard and mouse.
