Lee's unique capabilities in miniaturization and engineering keep the company at the forefront of fluid control technology and identify Lee as a leading innovator in the field of fluid handling and control.Founded in 1948, The Lee Company occupies over one million sq. ft. of modern manufacturing and office space at four sites in Westbrook and Essex, Connecticut, and employs over 1,000 people.Qualifications:High school diploma, GED, or trade school education.Some experience in the use of SolidWorks, PDM, and ideally a Certified PDM Administrator Professional.Mechanical aptitude and use of significant mathematical skills.Must be able to proofread documents, read blueprints, train others, complete production paperwork.Responsibilities:Following specified procedures, sound drafting techniques, alter layout and detail more complex drawings to suit engineering changes and initiate change orders using computer aided drafting programs.Calculate dimensions and specify standard allowances in accordance with established procedures when detail is sectionalized, or dimensions and allowances are not stated on layouts.Material specifications, part numbers and other technical data required.Operate copy machines, file drawings and perform other miscellaneous drafting room assignments.The Lee Company Advantages:The Lee Company offers opportunities for career growth in a growing company providing an attractive range of benefits including company-paid health insurance, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and daycare subsidy.
