Dreamscape International Film Festival in Houston, TX is dedicated to empowering independent filmmakers and writers, offering them the financial support and opportunities they need to bring their creative visions to life within the dynamic landscape of the entertainment industry. We will have 70+ films showing over the weekend, in addition to Celebrity and Hollywood Executive Panels, and a Saturday After-Party followed by an Award Ceremony.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Dreamscape International Film Festival Host located on-site in Richmond/Katy, TX. As the host, you will be responsible for facilitating and engaging with attendees, introducing films and screenplays, and moderating Q&A sessions.

We are looking for 2-3 hosts to work anywhere from 8-12 hours a day during the dates of September 26th to September 29th, 2024. This is our inaugural year so we are limited in the pay we can offer, but we anticipate that as our festival grows the pay will increase each year!

• Communication and Customer Service skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in event hosting or film festivals is a plus
