Job DescriptionJob Description:R D Circuits, a member company of Advantest America, Inc., is wholly owned by Advantest Corporation (a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed company). For over 50 years, R D Circuits has been a leader in the printed circuit board industry.Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate numerical-control drilling machines to drill holes into printed circuit boards according to specifications.
- Load program files containing programmed commands into the machine or enter commands to retrieve programmed control data.
- Review setup instructions, blueprints, and work orders to determine drilling requirements and machine settings.
- Load and unload PCB panels onto drilling machines, ensuring proper alignment and securing.
- Maintain drill bits, replacing worn or damaged ones to ensure optimal performance and hole quality.
- Monitor the drilling process to ensure the quality of holes.
- Perform quality control checks using measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with drilling equipment or processes.
- Maintain and clean drilling equipment regularly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and quality inspection results.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
- Basic computer skills for operating machine controls.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
